Paid by bank transfer, as the law requires
We always pay by bank transfer. Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, scrap metal dealers and collectors can't pay cash for scrap, and that includes cars. A transfer also gives you a record of the sale.
Licensed collection
We hold a waste carrier licence and a scrap metal collector's licence. Your car goes to a licensed Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF), which:
- Issues the Certificate of Destruction.
- Notifies the DVLA that the vehicle has been scrapped.

Collecting from Rockingham
