The Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 makes it illegal for scrap metal dealers and collectors to pay cash for scrap, and cars count. We pay every scrap car by bank transfer. It is the law, and it gives you a clear record that the car was sold.
Licensed from collection to destruction
We hold a waste carrier licence and a scrap metal collector's licence. The ATF we use issues a Certificate of Destruction and tells the DVLA the vehicle has been scrapped. Once the DVLA has that, any full months of vehicle tax are refunded to you automatically.

Collecting from village homes
